I have been living with husband and three sons that have done tech support for 15 years. I feel I have heard them all, but still some surprise me. “I hit delete on my email, where did it go”, “The ice storm knocked out my power, why doesn’t my internet work”. Those people you just ask them to pack up the computer and tell them to send it back to where they got it.

….my mouse is frozen, I don’t know what to do…..well gee, I would think the first thing you would check would be to make sure IT IS PLUGGED IN before you call and bug me…..

I called the help desk to tell them that I was locked out of the system and needed my password reset. They asked me to email them the problem….. Obviously did not understand that I could not access my email as I was locked out…. Sometimes the dumb statements come from the techies, not the other side!
