Ever wish you could clone your company’s top-performers and reap the benefits? Well, this is close enough.
“The robot couple” — That’s the name customers have given the Zhanghuas, who run a bustling restaurant in Yiwu, China. The business is open at 6 a.m. and closes its doors at 3 a.m., and the Zhanguas are there for every moment. Must be an incredibly devoted work ethic, right?
Not exactly. The Zhanghuas are actually four people: two identical brothers that married two identical sisters. Since they look exactly alike, patrons are dumbfounded when they see the same faces opening and closing the restaurant every day.
The business is keeping the tradition strong, too — each couple has a young son, and the cousins are also nearly identical.
