		<description>Purely for economic reasons why get rid of the penny when it cost less to produce 5 pennies, the equivalent of 1 nickel.  Do the math, 5 pennies @ $.017 = $.085 vs 1 nickel @ $.095.  If our government is thinking about doing away with a coin denomination, then make it the nickel.  For those American&#039;s who would rather not deal with pennies, they could always leave the pennies when they buy something and the change is given back in pennies, they probably don&#039;t need the money anyway.</description>
