Next time an expense report comes across your desk for approval, you might want to take a second look at its receipts.

Employees who pad their expense reports are enough of a hassle, but if this site catches on, Finance will have its hands full figuring out what’s valid and what’s not.

FalseExpense offers its premium fake receipts to anyone who’s willing to plunk down between $1 and $30. Of course, the Web site doesn’t claim it’ll help employees falsify business expenses — the company’s lengthy disclaimer says it doesn’t violate the Forgery and Counterfeiting Act of England because all products and services are “novelty items.”

The company offers counterfeit receipts for popular retailers like Best Buy, Circuit City, CompUSA, Tiffany & Co. and Radioshack, but claims these duplicates should only be used when people lose the original receipts or if the writing on them becomes illegible.

The company also offers a premium design and printing service, where users can custom-create receipts — including a store’s address, telephone number, the items purchased, sales tax paid, etc.
