Why ‘you’re fired’ doesn’t work on a grand scale

There are several ways to handle being on the receiving end of negative feedback or termination. Things go a little differently when there’s a whole group involved.
When Graziano Transmissioni India, an Italian-owned industrial gear manufacturing facility in India, decided it needed to hold major layoffs of its workforce, it dragged the matter out for months. Eventually, company CEO Lalit Kishore Choudhary terminated hundreds of employees after a lengthy dispute.
But instead of packing their belongings or bowing out gracefully, the sacked employees turned into an unruly mob and began damaging property. Choudary attempted to reason with the crowd, but the fired workers ignored his requests and proceeded to beat up the CEO — eventually, the executive was beaten to death.
Senior police officials have said there have been 63 arrests so far in the investigation.

Too bad we haven’t done that to a few CEO’s here in the States…. Bet the economy would be doing better.
